Whole, boiled, brown crabs are available from Easter to end of the year - weather permitting. They can be boiled, frozen and mailed to addresses in Denmark. At certain times they are available from www.skagenfood.dk.
To use the whole crab is relatively new in Denmark, where we traditionally only have used the claws. However, the catch is sustainable, with minimum environmental impact and of course prevents the food waste of using claws only.
